Intuition: The Voice of Your Soul

We've all experienced moments of tuning into our intuition, receiving messages that guide us in our decisions. Sometimes, our intuition feels strong and clear, while other times, doubts creep in, making it hard to discern between intuition, desire, or even cultural programming.
For me, this journey with intuition became particularly intense after my son was born, a common experience for new moms. Maybe you can relate?
One of the most powerful intuitive hits I experienced revolved around injections for my son. Despite feeling a strong intuition against it, I sought advice from my GP and friends, all of whom provided wishy-washy responses, leaving me feeling confused and pressured to comply with the recommended protocol. I am sure everything would be fine, I convinced myself. My body was telling me otherwise though.
After going twice with my son and calming him down from screaming afterward I decided not to go back. Finally, I had listened. I felt like a volcano ready to erupt as the nurses and admin went on and on about ‘how brave’ my son was for coming in and enduring the pain. I prayed that everything would be ok. The guilt was overwhelming.
My son immediately got these tiny red dots on his skin after the 2nd time we went. I was horrified and wanted to hide it from everyone out of guilt. I knew it was me that signed him up for this. The skin bumps went away and I thought we were in the clear.
It wasn't until I saw the impact on my son's health a couple of years later – enlarged tonsils, eczema, leaky gut, and frequent strep infections – that I realized I needed to trust my intuition and take our health into my own hands. Canceling a scheduled tonsillectomy was a turning point, leading me to seek alternative paths to healing guided by intuition.
Through this journey, I've learned the importance of listening to intuition, especially when it comes to health decisions. Our intuition holds valuable insights into what our bodies truly need. By trusting our intuition and taking empowered action, we can achieve true healing and well-being.
Today, my son's health has improved significantly. His strep infections are gone, his eczema is minimal, and his tonsils have reduced in size. It continues to be a journey of empowerment and self-discovery, guided by intuition and a deep understanding of our unique health needs.
Looking back, I realize that my intuition had been trying to guide me all along. In trusting it, I can make the best decisions for my son's health and teach him to do the same. It's a lesson I'll carry with me for the rest of my life. I see more each day how much toxicity we are bombarded with at every turn, and how much groupthink and programming we are exposed to that can override our soul’s voice as sovereign creative beings.
How does your intuition show up for you? How do you discern between intuition and doubt? Have you ever felt pressured to do something you wish you hadn’t? Share your experiences in the comments below. We all learn from each other.
